Orientation Program – September 2018
Orientation Program for the new batch of BSCIT students was organised at Dinning Park Restaurant and Lounge Bar located at Old Baneshwor.
Program was divided into two sessions, First session began with welcome address by Er. Prakash Kumar, Director (Academics), during which he talked about the Asia Pacific University, Malaysia and LBEF Group of Institutions. He concluded his talk by briefing the students about the rules and regulations of university and college.
During his interaction with students , Dr. Sandeep Kautish, Dean(Academics) told students about the e-library access provided to them. Students of LBEF can access all 11 online databases that are available to students APU Malaysia, he mentioned that, it is a good opportunity provided by APU and LBEF, to enhance their knowledge by accessing these resources.
Next Mr. Uday Kumar Jha gave a motivational speech to the new batch of students. Mr. Ramesh Suwal also shared his experience; he is also the first batch of LBEF and current faculty member for BscIT.
Interacting with students, Er. Pankaj Jalan (Chairman- LBEF Group of Institutions), shared his experience of establishing Akshar Vidya Mandir (First Smart School of Janakpur). It was truly an inspirational experience.
The first session ended with the cheerful group photograph.
The second session was filled fun & frolic, where students introduce themselves and the best male and female speaker were given prize.
One session was conducted by Mr. Sagun Dhungana. I am sure this session gave an insight into how information technology can overcome the prevalent issues. Various game namely: bursting the balloon, tug of war, three legged tie, and cup tower was played by the students. Every one enjoyed the game and at the end of the day friendship bond was created.
We would like to welcome our new batch to the LBEF family. It’s going to be the learning experience for them.
